Everly
Everly in Gilbert, Arizona, is a legacy project for the Morrison family, an agricultural and dairy farming dynasty that transformed their farm into a modern residential community. The family gives the site a distinct character, with wide, tree-lined corridors, white ranch fencing, and neighborhoods featuring Ranch, Craftsman, and Territorial-style homes and retail architecture. One of the final parcels, a multifamily development, was developed by PB Bell Development, with the Morrison family personally guiding and approving architectural, landscape, and signage details. Our interior design responded to this program with rich spaces grounded in Arizona ranching heritage. Through thoughtful interior architecture, finishes, and furnishings, we created a ranch-style interior that feels warm, inviting, and deeply connected to the character of the site and community.

Arizona Ranch Style is rooted in the materials and sensibilities of its time and place. Homes were built from simple, readily available materials, assembled with straightforward craftsmanship, yet often accented with decorative elements reflecting the cultural influences of the era. Adobe or plaster walls, wood floors, beamed ceilings, barn-paneled walls, and decorative tile brought character and warmth to these simple forms. The result: homes that felt weathered, inviting, and intimately connected to a simpler, more grounded way of life.
The leasing experience at Morrison Ranch begins with arrival at the concierge desk: a black wood, saloon-style bar designed for a welcoming walk-up greeting. Wood floors, beamed ceilings, and board-and-batten walls immerse visitors in architecture reminiscent of a ranch house or general store, creating a warm, inviting gathering space.
A comfortable lounge and central worktable draw potential residents into the space. Multiple leasing options are seamlessly integrated with concierge service for immediate questions, a wall-mounted interactive screen for project information, and iPad stations for self-guided exploration. Comfy lounge chairs offer a relaxed setting to close deals, while the conference table and casual seating provide structure when needed.
Furnishings and merchandising reflect the Morrison Ranch family style: leather ranch chairs on woven rugs, wood chests and tables with weathered finishes, and walls adorned with barn coats, boots, bridles, blankets, hats, and parcels. The result is an immersive environment that communicates the project’s culture and character, giving residents a true sense of place.
The Morris is a ranch style club for the residents to entertain with their family and friends. A adult style lounge backed with a kid friendly space for family fun. The Morris bar is wrapped in adobe bricks and weathered barn wood, topped with western barn lanterns that glow at night. Mexican Talavera Tiles back the bars and built ins, their bright colors and detailed patterns adding culture and texture to the interiors. Multiple adult lounge spaces create interaction points for residents in a relaxed space. Spaces filled with comfortable leather furniture, wooden tables, hand woven rugs and warm blankets. The game night lounge is focused on a grand gathering table surrounded by a collection of vintage seating. Large farm basket style lamps cast shadows across the rooms. Parents gather and lounge while the kids game. Multiple gaming tables, video stations and board play options exist for the entire family.

Designed as a space for families to unwind after work, The Morris balances a calm, adult atmosphere with areas for children to play. Adults can relax, converse, and enjoy a drink, while kids eat, play, and explore. The bar serves as a central architectural feature, subtly dividing the spaces while maintaining visual connection between them. Both interior areas extend outdoors, linking to a family swing and multiple adult lounges on the covered patio, creating a seamless environment for families to gather, laugh, and connect.
