Norterra is a luxury suburban development in north Phoenix at the desert’s edge. Designed with a “swank club” vibe, the interiors are impressive and approachable. Natural marbles contrast with the wood screening to create high drama in the architectural details. The lounge is divided by the wood-patterned media wall creating intimate lounges with club sofas for group mingling. Wood screening and spider lights add some swank to the space. Animal sculptures were integrated into the public spaces for “fun” and social media opportunities. Including giant orange bulldogs, furry sheep, and even giant yellow ducks at the luxury pool. An integrated mail/parcel space was developed to interact with a dedicated mobile workspace. Using meeting rooms, work desks, electrified lounges, and on demand printing spaces for resident convenience.

The interior with its modern architectural style is clean and warm. The patterned floor unites the interior while the furnishings create individual spaces to meet and work. Located in central Tempe in the designated “Arts District”, Parc Broadway was designed for an upwardly mobile resident. The modern exterior architecture with its pop of color transitioned inside to create a playful and engaging space that connects and artfully amuses the residents. The coffee bar design is focused on connecting mobile residents. Belly up to the bar, grab a café table, and perch in a side booth. Hanging in the lounge with friends and family. Catch the big game. All of the amenities! Commissioned artwork was integral to the design program. An artist painted a life-size cow, referencing the nearby dairy, and an 8 ft flying pink pig sails between acoustical cloud discs. They really do fly! And hundreds of colored pencils wrap the leasing office column. The arts district project reflects the past and future aspirations of the neighborhood. Aspirations, not intimidations.

Calida Group

The Elysian brand by Calida Development is a Las Vegas phenomenon. The luxury brand with “over the top” Las Vegas style is successful in creating living experiences that are highly desired. Our work for Centennial Hills was a demonstration of executing their brand and owner’s vision. Our design restyled the interior architecture to create a series of connected spaces and experiences. The entry feels “castle” in architecture and finishes, filled with a collection of unique chairs, and a commissioned heart sculpture for Instagram moments. The grand hall is a series of small group spaces creating a grand experience for lounging and entertaining. Custom diva wall sconces anchor the room and are reflected in the adjacent game room. It is centered around a billiard table with a commissioned art felt top, with a massive dome chandelier. The Vegas-style continues in offices, massage rooms, tanning, and resident services areas. It is a carefully calculated combination of patterns, materials, and colors that combine to create the “Elysian Style.”

Camden Development

The heart of “Mill Avenue” design drove the design program for Camden Tempe. The new flagship project for the Tempe location attracts young tech and research professionals and students associated with Arizona State University. The midwest charm and architectural elements of Mill Avenue were integrated with decorative exposed truss ceilings, vintage brick walls, and rustic wood floors. Walls of industrial steel and faux exposed beams add an industrial edge. Splashes of the collegiate color scheme are integrated into the architecture along with local landscape references. Leasing and a ride-share waiting center in the entry lounge is busy with people in transition. The warm and usable entertainment bar with its industrial garage doors opens to the patio and pool. The extensive mobile workspace includes 6 stacked multi-function meeting spaces, communal meeting areas and work desks, private lounge booths, and telephone style work booths. All focused on the mobile and connected resident profile.

Highwater is the high standard for Silicone Valley set by Greystar Development for their Redwood City, California, project. The final of four developments, its’ goal was to top existing and set new standards for Silicone Valley multi-family development. The massive urban structure with classic stylings was anchored with a boulevard-style lobby and leasing experience. The storefront interiors are filled with light and city energy. The interior architecture is classic with contemporary details that evolve a grand hotel experience. The spaces are filled with a collection of furnishings emulating the highest of San Francisco design aspirations. Custom leasing desks from a notable designer anchor the spaces. Surrounded by soft sculpted furniture, mixed with a collection of tables in metals and unique shapes. Luxury furnishings fill the main floor leasing, lobby lounge, club room, and workspaces. The Valley’s only rooftop pool was accompanied by a private residence club. The High Bar is bathed in chocolate brown finishes and furnishings and gilded in gold, creating a luxury club experience for the residents.

The luxury hospitality interiors at Elevation San Tan reflect the aspirations of the demographic of Gilbert and the San Tan Village luxury retail experience. The sophisticated monochromatic color palette is the foundation for the design’s sense of luxury. The modern interiors are bathed in light wood, pale stones, and natural textures with refined finishes. Pops of vibrant yellow add surprise and approachability to the design plan. The grand hall is centered on an architectural fireplace with integrated seating that creates the hotel vibe, and the adjacent lounge creates group spaces for lounging and gaming. The luxury experience continues in the urban gym with community spaces integrated into the boutique fitness experience. Outside the cabanas and ramadas are detailed and finished to promote resident interaction in a luxury environment.

Camden Development

“A luxury modern home in North Scottsdale”, was the design inspiration for this Camden second phase project. Inspired by the desert modernism style surging in the neighborhood, the design is inspired by modern lines and materials and the integration of desert influences and design details.  Focused around a custom rammed earth fireplace, the clubhouse provides resident connection, entertainment, and mobile workspaces. Concrete floors, wood ceilings, and large expanses of glass define the interior architecture. The furnishings extend the natural materials and finishes with a focus on the art and culture of the southwest desert. Modern Italian sofas mix with western chairs and Frank Lloyd Wright wall tiles to create a uniquely “Scottsdale Modern” experience.

The development will feature the first substantial slate of affordable units to be delivered within the Downtown Precise Plan. Residents of the new mixed-use development will enjoy a short walk to downtown Redwood City, the Redwood City Caltrain station and two major grocery stores – Safeway and Whole Foods.
